I could find all kinds of clichés to help make my point about how important I believe history to be.  Although, you may totally bust me making up dates when trying to be accurate about some of Mayville’s history, because, unlike my dad Merle Justman who can spout off baseball stats from 50 years ago (or tell you the exact date he bought his 3rd car or wore brown pants), I did not inherit the gift of factual data memory. The first work nightmare

The first work nightmare I had was almost 6 months ago.  It was right after I started in this role and learned about Main Street Mayville’s annual fundraiser, “Big Bucks”.  I dreamed that I was cleaning up after the event and after tallying all the expenses,discovered that when everything was said and done, we had cleared only $6.84. Theatre and Main Street Collide

My 1st “big role”, complete with spoken lines and a solo, was in the 4th grade as Mrs. Noah at St. John’s. I still hum that song while doing dishes or folding laundry. I got bit by the theatre bug, and I’ve been performing almost regularly ever since. I’m tremendously grateful for the rich community theater opportunities here in Mayville, and in surrounding areas, that afford me such convenient opportunities to live out my passion.
